Senior Boys Football
Well done to the Senior Boy’s Footballers who had a very hardfought 4-11 to 2-09 win over Ballymahon Vocational School in the North Leinster Championship on Monday last. The lads, playing with the wind in the first half got off to a slow start conceding two early goals. It could easily have been three were it not for a fine James Coyle save. The lads fought hard and second half goals from Jordan Martin, Jordan Shiels, Eoin Sheridan and Dara Sheridan ensured the win. This was an excellent second half team performance but special mention must go to the player of the match Ryan O’Reilly. Well done to the lads and Mr Carroll and we wish them the best of luck when they Galle, Ferbane next Thursday.
